This is an incredible series that is almost unbelievable but actually you can well imagine that this does happen behind the scenes in stately homes. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?ĭefinitely would recommend. You should definitely check this series out. Pepper Winters did an excellent job on this series and the narrators brought it to life in my mind. It makes for a great reading experience and it's much more clean cut and realistic. Watt only voices the male characters and Kylie C. This has been my first experience with back and forth narration. However, this series doesn't do that, and I'm eternally grateful for it. It gives each character two separate voices, that often sound so different, and it can be confusing. It's just what we're used to hearing, with women often having higher voices and men often having lower ones.) So it gets kind of confusing when the female narrator voices both the male and female characters during the female character's pov, and when the male narrator voices both the male and female characters during the male character's pov. You'd think that the female would voice the female characters and the male would voice the male characters. Sometimes in a story there'll be two narrators, both male and female. I've never experienced duet narration before and it just added to this amazing series. This series has been by far my favorite, and I've read/listened to many books.
